Community of Communities: Spring 2026

What is your role in transformational change?

A Mutual Learning Workshop

Composting a Dying World

Finding the best way to respond in this dizzying time can be difficult. Even if we know the focus of our action, figuring out the best way to approach it can be a challenge. Moments like these can also make us question or seek more clarity of our purpose in life. Thankfully, this isn't a solo journey. If we really want to understand and explore that purpose and meaning, the best way to do it is together.

Regardless whether you are:

  • just starting to figure out what you can do
  • already active in the community but need discernment on where to focus your energy amidst high demands
  • or, you have years of experience and want to re-evaluate your focus

This workshop will have something for you.

Join us to explore how the Offender, Defender, Tender, Mender, Connector, Pretender, and Upender roles in AJ Hawkins' Composting a Dying World zine help us understand our place in the movement for transformational change. We’ll start with our passions and skills and the look at the opportunities we have around us for change.
